Weekend Race Report for – Amelia U17 Women’s Junior Tour of CanberraWhat a fantastic weekend of racing for Amelia at the U17 Tour of Canberra! Representing Park Life CC. Amelia tackled a challenging four-stage tour with grit, determination, and maturity beyond her years.Saturday kicked off with a fast and tactical criterium where Amelia held strong in the bunch, followed by a tough road race that saw her dig deep and ride smart through the undulating terrain. Sunday brought the demanding hill climb—where she showed true climbing resilience—and the individual time trial, where she delivered a focused and powerful effort against the clock.Amelia finished an impressive 9th overall and was the 3rd placed first-year U17 rider, a remarkable result that highlights her potential and promise in the sport. Her composure, consistency, and team spirit were on full display all weekend.Congratulations, Amelia! A brilliant performance and a sign of big things to come. Keep pushing forward! 🚴‍♀️💪👏#ParkLifeCycling #TourOfCanberra #FutureStar #ProudCoach #U17Racing See MoreSee Less

*Honouring TP– A True Champion On and Off the Road* It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tony Patterson, a club member, organizer, friend, wonderful husband, and an all-round bloody good guy. His passion for riding was infectious, his dedication to the cycling community unmatched, and his kindness immeasurable. Whether leading the pack, planning the next big event, or simply offering a word of encouragement when it was needed most, Tony made an impact that will never be forgotten. He was more than just a rider—he was a cornerstone of our club, a man who turned miles into memories. As we reflect on the moments shared, the roads travelled, and the friendships forged, we celebrated his legacy today we rode in his honour – we wore PINK 💖 for Tony today as a nod to his passionate drive for fundraising for the Breast Cancer Foundation – our Cycle for Breast Cancer Ride was instigated & driven by Tony true to his caring, honouring, generous nature we wanted to keep the spirit of camaraderie alive, just as he would have wanted. National Breast Cancer FoundationOur thoughts are with his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched. Gone but never forgotten—his wheels will always turn in our hearts.
